i took my girl last week after the bolder boulder, it was her first time.

pic2 is her about 1500' up, about 300 feet off launch.

holy shit. i have wanted to get into that so bad. seriously. the problem is that i live in minnesota. is it even possible here?
i need some insight.

hey thanks j_red. i'll check that out. so how does it work exactly? do you have to be certified? is there only certain places you can fly?
also,(i know a lot of questions, sorry) how much (estimate) does some quality gear cost? i have searched on ebay several times for equipment but not really sure if any of it is a good deal. i don't want to be far from the ground finding myself with a chute that rips in half and plunging to my death : )

this is in golden, you can see denver if you look close in the pic2.
don't buy used unless you know the guy...the results are worse than when you buy a crappy walkman.
i got a used setup from a buddy for about $1000(u.s.) new a setup is like ~$3000.
I used my setup for 2 years and then sold it for about $700.
That's about $150 a year for the raddest thing ever.
i live in manhattan now. i miss it.
