tech advice... Is this what I need to run my mac and pc on the same keyboard/mouse/monitor etc...?
If so - any considerations before I buy because they seem expensive...?
Oh yeah - it needs to work on the fly...

You could also run one as a remote session from the other...using Microsofts free Remote Desktop Connection to access the Windows box from the Mac desktop (when travelling as well), or vice versa...but KVM might be better...

But what do I need? I see KVM cables, and boxes - all vary in price - and buying online I can't see a picture of how they work...
i need pictures because i'm slightly dumb when it comes to this....
