i guess it's possible that there's a torpedo launcher just to the right of the camera, enabling him to get 15 feet of air on a 4 foot wave....or it's fake.

Back in the day they used to fake the launch ramp photos in the Z-Boys ads in a similar way.

I wanna know how they "land" that stuff - if they land back on their bodyboard and ride out wouldn't that be like landing on your chest from a 15-20 foot platform??? Or do they bail out right before hitting the water and just kinda dive in?
Crazy either way, I'm sure it's fun to be launched way above the water like that.
