get a p4 with ht .....

Get something with good support.. here are the specs you want, minimum that is.
2.4 ghz
512 megs of RAM running at minimum 333 ... 400 would be ideal (I would go 1gig of ram personally)Get a P4 with hyperthreading technology with a 800 mhz bus
most important.. get a 9700 128 meg Radeon Video card.
BUT OVER ALL get
XP PRO and NOTTTT XP Home
I will try and build you one online for around 1000 bucks ... aka 500 pounds or so..

Why waste your money on a 9700 when you can get a much cheaper 9500 and then just OC it. and its much easier and safer to OC your video card than the rest of your system.
