The THINK Utah State is not working.. The THINK needs Kerning... and its way old school.. very 1999
You might want to put the Logo of the university in the upper left..
the right hand menus text is very jagged.... and needs fixing..
The pictures arent working either...They dont say anything about the university to me.. but almost seems like they were an after thought.
the background for the right hand menu .. the picture... that just aint working either.
and the top menu.. why do you have 2 different roll over states...?
The bottem 2 news things... they seem too small and not enough room for text for a headline.. you will find you will need more..
the whole underlying grid structure is broken up and sparatic.. pretty much i think this is way too 1999 and needs an overhaul

PS.. why are you using Orange.. for a UTAH State site....
orange is also old schoolThe news thing at the bottem.. the expanding menu.. that might be better at the bottem of the picture area.. because its hidden down at the bottem
and the search below the menu...
also the pcitures again... thats alot of wasted space. almost the whole site.. i would use that space better

i like the white rollovers on the right in the nav. the bold nav will get the user around. good thinkin.

you need a utah state logo that grabbs ya fist too, i dont see a university sig right away.

You need some sort of master head. At first glance, you don't quite know where you're at.
Also why the difference in the buttons at the top? I like the bigger orange numbers over the white.
Besides that, the look and feel is nice.

i dig the larger number rollover as well, but i think the first state's text should be smaller. maybe even change the font of the text on the right as well. i'd also center the whole thing. I can understand the idea of staying in a 800x600 format but you would still achieve that if it was all in one big table then centered.
get rid of the picture of that damn hippie lookin guy, that's an instant turn off. i'd never go there. replace it with a pic of the best looking building on campus or some other attractive campus shot, and yeah, you need the schools logo on there somewhere, probably in the box above the girl. show more shots of her instead of mr.ultimate frisbee
it's hard to tell interactive wise since the only thing that is interactive are your rollovers. i'd say your on a very good track, but just need some finishing steps.
