    BTW, REAL Mexican food is actually quite healthy. They go a little heavy on proportions for some things, but Mexicans do eat more vegetables than one would be accustomed to thinking.

    If you've ever been to a REAL Mexican restaurant, you will know that many vegatables come with your food. And radishes are almost always there. Don't forget the myriad of salsas (from the soupy to the chunky--with carrots and jalapeƱos), many fruit/chili incorporating snacks, and yummy cucumber salad made with simple cucumber, lemon juice, salt,& pepper.

    I myself am not Mexican (my Latin comes from Nicaragua), but being a Hispanic Californian, be assured I have associated with many Mexicanos & their food. It's the poor, Fast Food Americanized Mexicans that are generally fat. Those true to their roots have very cleanly households and small bellies, if any at all.
