I haven't read all the posts here so I shall start this with a wee warning.. If you are a Jehovah's Witness you are unlikely to want to read the below....
My father used t own the village shop and was being continually harassed by a pair of Jehovah's Witnesses who wanted him to peddle their magazine to his customers. Despite having stated politely that he did not wish to do this they insisted on paying him a visit every week to try and change his mind...
One day they came into the shop and he said "actually I do have a very good use for your magazines"
They were delighted when he told them he would take as many magazines as they could spare and brought him a box full...
They followed him to the back yard behind the shop where he proceeded to douse the magazines liberally in parafin and use them to light his incinerator.
Never again has our dorstep been visited. I do believe our entire family has been blacklisted. If ever you are in a similar situation just tell them your name is Burnett, that should get them on their way again.
*I have the utmost respect for the beliefs of others as does my father, but keep it to yourselves and accept no as meaning no.
*same deal with the Gouranga mob, if you're thinking of it, not with me thank you, unless you wish to have GOURANGA YA HOOOOOOOOOR screamed right in your ear.
