macromedia likes changing the interface with every version. keeps the users on their toes. survival of the fittest.
also, not having it consistent across programs is another way they can make sure that only true believers will continue using their software.
are you man enough to figure out what we have installed for you?
and yes, i want a button to insert code, especially when it's simple. after learning so many script languages since 1990 (hell, macromedia alone has used about 6 accross thier authoring environments) i don't want to spend hours trying to figure out where i got my syntax wrong. after all, i am a designer and code is something i want to get out of the way, I have other sick ways of pleasuring myself.
