i feel like one school emphasizes the artist end of things, the other is more commercial. imagine giving a sponser presentation to the ceo of ford at school in a suit and tie standing in front of a wall of grafitti or some pompus-ass fine art sculpture. like i said, design is not art. being a famous designer to me means making large strides in the business world as well, not just working on style and form from a secluded studio, or working in theory like cranbrook.
speaking of which, does calarts have sponsered projects? just curious..
