  moth - I really could give a shit if you never tip again in your life. I worked as a waiter and I can tell you that I wouldn't have done that if I knew that I was going to just make minimum wage. So in essence you are riding the coat tails of the people who do tip so that you can enjoy the benefit of more skilled waiters who only work in that profession because they expect to make the rest of their salary on your tip. Don't feel bad, a lot of foreigners don't understand...I helped them understand by not brushing off their food when it 'slipped'. It's all fair in the end mate.
