    OK, I read the first 50 posts and couldn't read anymore...

    Racism is the act of denying a certain group of people resources based on their ethnicity. Therefore, Threadless is not being racist. The most they could be is prejudice, but where would we find the basis for that? I can't seem to locate the "I hate black people" shirt...

    As far as the the concept of "having to portray life as it is" and not "as (they) see it", well there goes artisitc freedom and expression. Personally, I don't think that Abercrombie's ads are overflowing with an abundance of artistic freedom or cutting edge creative concepts, and I don't like their clothes, but I have seen some ethnic people in their ads. Bottom line is they're hitting their target market.
