    Get something with good support.. here are the specs you want, minimum that is.

    2.4 ghz
    512 megs of RAM running at minimum 333 ... 400 would be ideal (I would go 1gig of ram personally)

    Get a P4 with hyperthreading technology with a 800 mhz bus

    most important.. get a 9700 128 meg Radeon Video card.

    BUT OVER ALL get

    XP PRO and NOTTTT XP Home

    I will try and build you one online for around 1000 bucks ... aka 500 pounds or so..
