Adjustment layer above will affect everything underneath (unless you want to alt click between all of the watercolor layers to create layer masks.... and layers underneath will still get affected if there's semi-transparency in the watercolor layers).
Smart Object is the best bet like brandelec said, and easiest. Select the group of layers, right click and select Create Smart Object. Then double click on the smart object layer to open the psb and then add an adjustment layer inside of the smart object.
