I remember protests when Nike Town were first opened. The protesters didn't seem to give a shit that those factories gave work to people who would starve otherwise.
Had they succeeded in getting factories to close (as so many human rights activists aim at), they would do the people they care for so much great service.- but it's largely the west's fault they'd starve in the first place - to offer crumbs and state they'll die without them is calculating and deceptive.********
