Cmd + B to re-show bunding boxes, cmd + h to unhide anything else.
Check he's not just clicking down when making a text field - he needs to drag one to size first, otherwise it becomes a text line, rather than field.
- sorry. cmd + shift + b for bounding boxes. I'd just turned my work machine off, so assumed incorrectly!Nairn
