I think a logo can be judged on it's own when that's all there is. But when it's intended to be a component of a larger, bigger brand I think it's a bit unfair. Especially when a 400K price tag is directly underneath it.
I'd find it difficult to stomach almost any logo with that kind of price tag attributed to it, no matter how good it is without understanding what went into making it and under what circumstances it was made.

But trust me when I say, the deployment of this *brand* is going to be lacklustre.******** - You may be right. I wouldn't be surprised to see it go badly but until I see the rest of it I'm just guessing.Groks
