It's hard for McCain bc he really has to shore up his weaknesses (economic and conservative bonafides)
his economic policies are far from weak. given that supply-side economic policies are the fastest and most efficient paths to national prosperity (and they are, many have tried to criticize this with no success) i'd say mccain will fare well, regardless of his VP pick.
the nation is beginning to finally realize that increasing taxes as some means to prosperity (not very logical) does not work and in fact accomplishes quite the opposite. it stunts the economic growth of the country.
