anyway, i'm sure there are a lot of people that have some sort of self hatred, growing up in a environment hostile to homosexuality. they're constantly told it's wrong and they'll burn in hell for something that they probably have no control over.
and regarding "queens" being so overtly flamboyant, i think it's a case of someone adopting their sexuality as their identity, a way to fit in or be noticed. like someone who wants to let you know how goth they are etc. i think they just want to belong to something because they don't have a strong sense of self.
