More than bad design ethical design is important, I think. Would you design awesome packaging for a drug company that's known for killing people? Why would you promote a bottle of vodka over something healthier. We should read the facts and see what we cause by luring people into useless, harmful, wasteful things. This is not about changing the world or being a superhero this is showing default responsibility as a human. Just like recycling your paper. We shouldn't promote things like gambling, alcoholism, sexual pervasiveness, things that's utterly bad for environment, things that instigate racism, separation and ignorance.
There's plenty of $$$ in the world don't worry for not having a piece of that.
