  One more thing: it's become socially acceptable for a heterosexual girl to say another girl is sexually attractive. This is not yet the case for guys (thankfully). I really think the difference stems from porn. Most girls don't look at porn. Most guys do, and what's more, most guys are into lesbian porn. I've never heard a straight woman say she liked watching gay dude porn.
