i used to be a surfer in the early 90s in southern cali.
i had a 5'11'' blue hawaiian surf board with a nitch back tri-fin.
i used to love hitting the beach til this one time i seen a shark. it was roughly 8-9 feet long and it was between me and the shore. there was also a lot of other surfers with me and we all were scarred to all hell. everyone on the sand could totally see this monster but all we could see [at first] was just a dark shadow in the water. it wasnt til it got very close to us that we saw what we were dealing with... i saw teeth and just something much bigger than me and my board... the didnt really bother anyone and everyone was happy to get back on dry land.. that day i caught a few rides and it was that last time i ever went in the ocean. i til this day will not even get my toes wet from the ocean. it scarred me for life. i used to love paddling out to catch my swells... get on my board and just ride... no more!!! im too scarred!!have fun wendog and be safe!!
