... the intense excitement of knowing its the first day of the summer holidays, and its sunny, and you're 12. You've upgraded your ride with some one finger Diore brake levers, a laid back seat post and a set of Shimano pedals (they were so ahead of anything back in the early 80's, now they're the standard model). And you'e just flicked through BMX ActionBike magazine, and got a mad buzz off the Skyway ads, and you're just lifting the garage door to get out there and start practicising some kerb dog manouvres knowing you've got six whole weeks of sunshine ahead.
