When I was a kid there my family were driving down the interstate in Colorado and there was an over turned semi-truck and no one was on the scene of the accident yet – it was in the middle of a blizzard. My dad pulled over to see if the driver was ok, and there was food spilled all over the place. The driver was ok, and he hung out in our warm truck until the wrecker/cops showed up. He appreciated it and told us we should snag a couple of boxes of fries...we were eating McDonalds fries at our house for like 6 months...it was great.
