i dunno man..
congrats on learning about how to build a website, your definitely a step in the right direction there...
so thats all good..
and dont' worry about our reactions too much....we enjoy taking the piss out of each other here...
as far as constructive crit goes, my advice to you would be to spend a few days looking at sites like:

http://stylegala.com/
and
http://www.designmeltdown.com/these are just some suggestions...
explore these sites, see what passes for top notch creative.
learn how site navigation is really supposed to work.
stay far far away from gimmicky crap like boingy sound effects, or spaceship lookin nav buttonsremember.
the work on your site is supposed to be prime focus...not the site itself...
so design accordingly..
it should be well thought out, and functional...and there ya go
