been married for 8 years now, and can't even conceive of not calling if i'm going to be out late..
its just plain courtesy and respect for your partner..
anyone thats been the other person sitting at home knows what a relief it is to get that phone call, just as a reassurance...
cuz when it's late, the mind starts to make all kinds of assumptions like 'car accident' and things like that... so it's always best to call and let em know all is well...
