    bullshit. I don't think apollo is going anywhere. We all used to browsing the web with our browsers noone is going to use apollo for that. ok so we can build custom applications that parses some of the things from web, well we could already do this with flash, what's new?

    Haha, I don’t even know how to comment to that absurdity.

    One example of a real-world application of Apollo would be kiosks.

    Say a company wants to have a job application center in their store, however, they don’t want it connected to the internet, nor do they want it to utilize IE/FX.

    Brand an application which has Q/A for each potential candidate and every nite have a batch run to a centralized source for file keeping to allow appropriate hire managers to sift thru the pool to see which candidates should move to the next step of the hiring process.

    Is this capable now without Apollo?

    Yes, but with Apollo it sure looks like it is going to be a hell of a lot easier.
