@ Sickman, flat beds are getting a lot better and for those of us who can't pop the $$k for a drum scanner they do pretty well.
@j_red, honestly, i'm not too sure, i know it has better specs and the results i've seen have been a bit better, i also think the packaged software is supposed to have a few more bells and whistles.. sorry i can't answer you better.
here are some i scanned in from 120mm film that i think are acceptable considering that both were shot with crap lenses :P
