TBO, i really like that response.
However...
Is it Henry Fords fault people die in car accidents? or the dealership, or the CEO of the car line?
She has a personal responsibility to herself to sustain her own life. I view this as an "accidental suicide"
Is he/she first responsible for playing the "chubby bunny" game responsible for all related deaths since?
what about slip and falls in the shower? who invented the bathtub? it must be his fault right? or the soap manufacturer?
there is a line of personal responsibility this woman was unable to determine.
what about all the other contestants who did not die? their statistics alone show the competition was not as dangerous as those berating the radio station would make it seem.
Granted a bad situation, but her death was a result of her own actions, plain and simple. she drank the water with her own actions, she was not connected to a feeding tube or automated dispenser. her hands unscrewed that lid and put the bottle to her mouth.
I'm sure her mother told her what all of ours did too:
"If everyone else jumped off a bridge, would you?"
