Sure it's commerical Janne, but if one of the advertisers asked the BBC to alter their reporting for their own corporate interest, I trust they would drop them as sponsors. News agencies should always try to insulate themselves that way. Reputable ones do.

but how much does the ad itself (apart from it's intentions -> commercial interests or not) differ from, say, the united colors of benetton campaign?
the ad itself, the message is jsut as right in your face and controversial as the others we've discussed today, or not?
or are we only obsessed by intentions (which is good for the most part btw) and ignoring the effect of the message itself??
