i see this in some prototypes and ones that are sold already:
this is what i dream of:
_interaction
_interconnectivity
_gps (or any new form of it)
_create media
_store media
_share media
_positioning
_loggingall things we know about already...
but it's about how to combine these things..
if i see a great bookstore in Brussels i take a picture of it and make a voice annotation for later reference.
it would be greater however, if a gps unit will put this place on a map, syncs it with databases with address details and more info of similar stores in the vicinity.
also i am interested to see this photo/gps thing more elevated into a video thing, where directions can be given as an overlay of a video you are recording as you travel or as an overlay over existing videos made by a company or other people in the network..
other then that i also like the idea of podcasts/vodcasts that can be downloaded as your travel and find a random point of interest, to learn about history or read/see/hear what other people think of it or whatever they experienced in that particular place..
i know this is all about functionality but i really love a gadget that basically combines this all, supported by a universal highspeed network and navigation system.
