I think, anyone of these would do a fair job standing on its own, but as a series the group lacks the dynamism one might expect.
You're repeating to many different visual elements to often. Consider more complex interpretations of the process/cycle you are trying to represent. For instance, could the process also dictate the placement or arrangement of the illustrations on the page?
Approaching the project in this way would do a couple of things. First it would break up the monotony of repetition. Second, by not defaulting to a centered presentation of you illustrations, you'll force yourself to make a more intellectually stimulating piece.
