By this time Bob's mother, Cedella Booker, had remarried and was living in the United States. She had written her son, telling him he should come and live with her, even if only for a short time. A day after his wedding to Rita Anderson, Marley moved to Wilmington, Delaware in February 1966. When Rita came to vist him in the States, she told him about dramatic changes in the music of Jamaica.
