    i've used the full family of handsets from o2, the xphone, xphone2, and the bigger models as well...

    in australia they're sold under another brand called i-mate...

    the full-sized one which you call the XDAIIs (I think that's the latest model) is a true PDA-phone... way too big to expect to carry it in your pocket... but once you're dependent on the Appz it has, you'll never go back... wi-fi, bluetooth model is the only one to go for (GSM data still costs too much, and wi-fi's all over the place)

    there's a mid-range model (i-mate call it the JAM), but its drawback is that you can only use the majority of the navigation with a stylus... poor.

    For Mac users out there, the one advantage the Handspring Treo 650 has over the others is its excellent synchronisation with Mac Mail etc... that's the only other one i'd recommend.... Sony-Ericsson screwed up with the latest P9xx model.... the keyboard is wack...
