    k, jazx, i thought you were being a smartass.

    i am pretty pissed off... couldn't work all day and this'll prolly cost me an insane amount of cash! :''((

    i just tried my disk in this mac of a friend where i am now.. and it did not work either, it made lots of terrible noises on startup though..

    will diskwarrior be of any use then?? (thx for the tip!)
    but will it be of any help at all?

    can anyone tell me in what kind of cases diskwarrior may help?

    also: someone here told me that data-recovery(in a lab with people in white suits..you know) may cost up to 1500 or even 1750 euro !!!!!

    is this true? :(
