heres my thoughts..
in kuala lumpur
-china town (Petaling Street)
-the mosque and park outside the petronas twin tower building is nice
-if your looking for electronics/software or stuff like that the best place would probably be imbi plaza or low yat...http://www.thingsasian.com/goto_…
the only other place i have been in malaysia is kota kinabalu and its surrounding islands. its of the peninsular malaysia in sabah but not the dangerous part. it has some great beaches and snorkeling if you like that stuff. probably my favorite island is manukan island. hope that helps have a good trip.
