I'd like to handover PDF docs to the client and give them the ability to make basic type changes like pricing on a menu.
Any way to do this without them having to buy illustrator?

Acrobat Pro
- Or create editable fields using the forms features. Super easy.monospaced

- But there COULD be major font issues. And they won’t have a lot of control over typographic details.monospaced
- yeah it depends on the font embedding license settings what you can override with a proper editor.sted
- recommended to add an invisible field and type in all the possible characters in the editable fields to populate the font subsetsted

- The client doesn’t need Pro. Just the free reader. Pro is for the document creator and designer.monospaced

It's originally designed in illustrator and saved as PDF.
I can arrange for them to have all the fonts but I think the learning curve for illustrator will stump them.- Open it in acrobat pro and start creating editable fields. You can teach yourself.monospaced
- There’s a form creation section for this. Play around.monospaced
- If you do it right they can use acrobat Readermonospaced
