If you have a chamfer box and delete the top vertexes, it leaves an open hole. How do you close that hole? Like make another poly face on the top?

that's a vertex connect right?
select edges -> bridge edges
or edit vertices -> connect
avoid creating sub-objects for this

Tried both options and neither is working. Its just a normal chamfer box with the rounded corners. I have to cut the top and bottom off though, and its just leaving open holes.
When I selected all of the vertices across the top and click things like connect or weld, it's not closing the top. Im basically just trying to cap off the top and bottom.
I know I can do a pro Boolean but I want to avoid that because it actually gets rid of the faces running all around the sides that I need.
- Tried the edges option too, didn't work either.CygnusZero4

Lmao there is a cap holes modifier. Forgot about that. Works great, but still curious how to fix this the manual way.

Another question. When extruding polygon faces, how do you do this and keep the originals where they are?
When i try it now, all it does is move the original polys. But I need to actually duplicate the polys and extrude those so that there is no hole left on the other side.

At it again. How do I add 2 more splines that run down the middle of this shape? I found the msmooth button but all that does is add 1 down the middle, but also doubles all the other spline.
