Set, without giving away your whatever special magic you put into your sauces (you know you do) can you roughly outline your process — or link to a recipe that approximately mirrors what you do?
I'm a big fan of chili sauces, but I don't like them too vinegary nor too hot — it sounds like your direction's the sort of thing I like (actual depth of taste, etc).
Or not, you cunt.
- You can just google habanero sauce recipe to get a basic understanding of how to do it. Maybe weaker chillies, tone it down with some tomato, carrot, fruit etcset
- Mix some new flavours in there, experiment. It's fun!set
- I make a fucking mean one caramelising the onions first in butter, but that won't last long in the fridge. Worth it though!set
- Was that unsatisfactory? :)set

I'm already seeing it suggested but am going to ask you to NOT do any of that 'day of the dead' (skulls wearing crowns etc), luchadors, woodcut southwestern looking bullshit... all tired and boring... enough of that bs.
(Although the work shown is well done, fade / whomever... not attacking the execution!!) :)
Tie the design to you... make it personal in some way... TIE IT TO BRITAIN, ffs... how many folks do you hear saying 'fuck me that British hot sauce is fucking perfect'?
Slap the word 'CUNT' over the Union Jack and call it done ffs.
- how many folks do you hear saying 'fuck me that British hot sauce is fucking perfect'?kingsteven
- definitely not enough peoplekingsteven
- ...because that would make my nightkingsteven
- just do embeciles design. it's A+inteliboy
- The word Cunt would make it very British and funny, but maybe get forgotten as a novelty item no?HijoDMaite
- Yep, I agree. Avoid the cliches. I am aware the one I did was a little obvious.fadein11
- My whole approach is most certainly to stay away from the clichés. As I said in an earlier note, I'm not even a fan of names that relate to heat and fire...set
- Might have to leave the word cunt out of it though, sadly =Pset

I made a few hot sauces recently. The habanero one in particular has had the best feedback I could possibly imagine. People that I know would tell me if they thought otherwise are saying it's the best sauce they've ever tried. A friend who's brother owns a hot sauce brand said with reluctance that it's better than any of his. Pretty crazy. Going to brand it and bottle it, for a laff.
- I've been making them for at lest 10 years so there's been a real process there. I love branding stuff so it makes sense to do it. Should be fun!set
- brilliant. do it. so many cliches visually and brand name wise in this sector (I did a quick brand for a friends hot sauce 2 years ago, she's doing v.well nowfadein11
- Please share your technique. You cunt.detritus
- This being your sauce I can't see you calling it anything other than "Cunt Juice".NOTNOTORAZAL
- and still using my quick brand which troubles me as it could have been better but there was zero budget). I would go for something that doesn't refer to any offadein11
- the obvious stuff.fadein11
- I want the labels to look like tarot cards, maybe.set
- Black, with foil. Initial thoughtsset
- I have abrasauce.com but not sure about that name yetset
- tarot cards is nice. she used mexican folk art for each flavour. worked well but also dangerously clichedfadein11

https://www.instagra… baby d's bee sting. I like using the dropper for application over a regular topper.shellie - I'd like to see a YT series of "Set making hot sauce in the kitchen". Also would like to try this sauce, hab is my go-to for everything.garbage
- My go-to's are Bonache and Secret Aardvark.garbage
- that dropper idea is brilliant shelliesea_sea
- Seconding the dropper. Is it an extract?garbage
- It's just hot sauce using a dropper, though very hot it's not like a concentrate. But it makes sense that you can apply always just the amount you intended.shellie
- My guy does this in his home kitchen. The bottles seem to be easy to fill and label. They are probably more expensive however he's selling a ton of this now.shellie
- The smart idea was selling 5 flavors as a set. He sells the most of those. Then ppl come back to refill on the ones they like the most.shellie
- Ah gotcha. Cheers.garbage
- Thanks for sharing Shellieset
- I think I might have a contact with a manager at planet organic here in London but I'm sure they are open to people just contacting. Why not try smaller stores?mugwart

Also, there's another qbn er here that does the hot sauce thing, I bought one and they were pretty good, I was mostly impressed with his branding, packaging was real nice, so were the labels.
Bottles are nice enough to gift to friends and stuff, if you haven't check his stuff out:

Call your hot sauce, "Twice!"
So when people ask, "why do you call it Twice!?' You can say, "You get to enjoy it twice!"
- why twice?Fax_Benson
- Because Robo eats his own shit?detritus

Sauce, Hot.
- Miguex0
I feel like there is hot sauce, just hot because it burns your mouth, but then there is the less exploited hot sauce that tastes good.
I grew up in a place were hot sauce culture is non-existent, but when I moved to California I learn to like it a lot. I'm no expert by any means and if sauces are way too hot I feel like it ruins the plate.
There are "tasty" hot sauces that just give a bit of spike but most important, enhance the flavor.
If I see a bottle like this:
I would laugh at the bottle, take a photo or whatever but will never even consider trying it.
How about focusing on flavor instead of heat level? is that consider lame? Just wondering..

This is the branding I did for a friend (I mentioned below). It was a no budget job, not sure she even thought it would take off but she has kept the branding and she is doing really well, selling in bulk to restaurant chains etc.. Needs a good revamp now she's got budget. Her name is Pip by the way, I didn't come up with the name.

- nice, fadein. is that screened on or is it on a clear label?Gnash
- label originally but I think she has done printing since. I have little to do it with it now. handed over files etc.fadein11
- screenprinting i meant.fadein11
- thanks. I actually don't like it prob because I know how little time I spent on it due to it being a favour. but somehow it worked for her.fadein11
- sometimes those ideas are strongest, thoughGnash
- I like itset
