- < How did you do that?nbq
- I'm trying to write that out now :)detritus
- < Why did you do that?imbecile
- only 6%?!?!sarahfailin
- @im, as an example? Or do you mean the names? I originally had generic things, then went up list changing to 1st in minddetritus
- ...to show it wasn't something I'd just downloaded from the internets.detritus
- You made the cut, that means I love you.detritus
- Or hate you. You choose, detritus
- Yellow was originally 'panties' and at that point, seeing how fa ahead it was, I decided to change. It was a journey.detritus
- guess the graph?futurefood
- most likely to fap in public?futurefood
- concerned! Is this the biggest ranters on qbn!mugwart
- must be by penis sizesuan
- hate it is!!imbecile
- I'm going with most influential by penis sizemugwart
- how dare you to put omg there with all those cool people? LOL!oey
- the problem with these charts is that the data is unclear. a 50% line on the inner circle isn't the same length as a 50% line in an outer circle.Gnash
- they look cool, but I'd never use them for that reasonGnash
- 11% hatred? That seems low.kona

• Create a series of nested circles, with styles, as per your wont
• Create a 'master circle' that is larger than all within it, adding a line that goes from central to due North, group. Copy. Lock original.
• Take your % data and work out what percentage equates to what degree
• Apply that calculation as a rotation
• Lock the above rotated layer (or have it underneath your working layer made up of circles)
• Use cut tool with Smart Guides (etc) on, hitting the intersect point
• Delete the remainder that you don't want
• Rinse
• Repeat- • profitcapn_ron
- Ah, OK, thanks.
I thought you had used the chart tool and I was wondering...nbq - I was wondering about the chart method too. If you use that then definitely profit - especially for Mugwart.CyBrainX
- I use FF Chartwell to do that kind of stuff https://www.fontshop…rabattski

is this the swiftest, most useful answer in qbn history?
you've even saved me time that I would have spent trying and failing to do it.

You can do it using pie chart tool too.
Just 'Expand Appearance' after each entrant.
Cuts out all the fiddly calculation bits
- How though? I tried that at first, thinking it'd be a cinch, but it was trickier than just doing it the lumpen manual waydetritus
- Make a pie chart with one value - say 60. Confirm to make chart then expand appearance. Delete paths with direct selection tool then stroke the remaining path.sinjun
- repeat with other values. Scale the circles down or up then make strokes uniform.sinjun

I looked at the pie chart tool in Illustrator and thought that was insane but got this going pretty well in After Effects with a bunch of expressions that let you add names and circles. The text is based on the layer name of the circle, so adding more QBNers should be easy.
Here's the source file if anyone wants to know how I waste my Saturday afternoons.
