I'm doing a camera animation, and 3D particles/noise help to give a sense of depth to the scene. I've done it a few times before, but looking for some other ways to do it, just to get a different look.
I need to do this without plugins. Anyone have any links to some good tutorials or tricks?

can you show an example of what your doing or looking for??

Cant show it sorry. Its an internal project for a company.
But basically there is a camera just moving through some text and graphics in 3D space, on top of solid colors. So this needing to be on top of solids isnt really giving a sense of depth, and 3d particles/noise can really help.
Like I said ive done this before, but just looking for some new ways to do it.

a subtle dust particle overlay is an easy way to add depth
- this one covers a lot of angles
