What do you call new properties that are bought off plan?
in the UK they're called "new build" properties
thanks

Not sure what you are asking, exactly...are you asking what it's called when someone buys something "off plan", prior to the building being built?
Pre-construction sales are usually just called "pre-construction sales", if there is even a distinction. Often times you'll get discounts or upgrades if you buy early. You put a deposit down and wait for construction.

cookie cutter house? pre-fab house?

What does "off plan" even mean?
- Buying it before it's built or finished. Rather than walk around the actual place you buy if off-plan. Perfect way of selling shitboxes with no natural light.MrT
- almost all for-sale developments need 50% pre-sales to get their construction loan. It's a necessity, no pre-sales, no building.formed
- Ah. Then yes, pre-construction.i_monk
