I have the feeling that for the most part a lot of QBN'ers were intact NT'ers back in the day and therefore we are possibly roughly the same age...
We are pretty much all creative and therefore we 'try' to keep up with trends etc etc...
I recently turned 40 and am still pretty obsessed with sneakers...
Do you wear Jordans? Which kind? Do you wear or simply resell?
Did you ever wear Jordans?
Are you 'over' sneakers these days?
Should you be 'over' sneakers when you are 40?
How old are you exactly?Just wondered what you cool cats thought...
Let the sarcasm begin :(

I wear Jordans almost every day apart from the odd occasion, like today, when I had my Foamposites on. I have almost everything from I's up to XIII's - anything after is garbage, to be honest, their designs peaked with the XIII. The XI is godlike and may be the best shoe ever designed next to the III.
I'm not particularly precious about them - I bought/buy them to wear, except my Toro Bravo V's which, at the last check, were going for nearly $1000 so will stay in their box forever.
Over the past few years I've drifted away mainly because of the increase in price and drop in quality - so I bought other things like the amazing Air Presto Flyknits, or Kobe Bryants.
At a guess I probably have nearly 60 pairs of kicks. I am 41 years old.

- Those are Foamposite Pro's - they have the Nike jewel on the side, regular Foams are plain. FYI, in case it crops up in conversation.face_melter

43 ... when I wear trainers it's either my black Chucks, or my white or black pairs of Tigers.
- Although I'll also be picking up a pair of white adidas Rom soon.Continuity

Don't care. I put them on my feet, walk around, get dirty, buy new ones, rinse, repeat.

Had a pair of Jordan 7's back in what, 1992. LOVED those trainers.
Got another paid 9 years ago but were fake shit that fell apart and were never as comfy as geniune ones.
ALWAYS wanted a pair of Jordan 6's. Black with the red detail as in an earlier post.

Ive got about 5-6 pairs of Jordans. Love them, but mainly wear them due to the nostalgia factor.
I seem to be falling off the Jordans thing though -- They are insanely over priced and the quality of each release seems to be going down. Funny that I couldn't afford Js as a kid, and now, I'm turning away from the shoe because of the inflated prices.
Adidas seems to be taking over with interesting design and comfort factor being a big deal, especially for us old folks. But its tough to get a pair, of say, Ultra Boost or NMDs since the shoe market is so hot. They sell out instantly.

Had Jordan's when I was a kid. Had to beg my mom for months to buy them for me. Wish I would have had the foresight to tell her to mortgage the house and buy as many pairs as possible.
So, I definitely have a soft spot for the 4's and 5's. I really love all the new colorways. But, there's no way on Earth I'm paying $200 plus for them (even though I consider it sometimes).
Plus, I'm not sure what I'd even wear them with. As far as kicks in general, I have lots of vans, lakai, and other skate shoes. Mostly rock leather loafers most days, truth be told. But, will bust out skate shoes every once in a while.
- Here in Canada, they are $295 not including tax. Insane. Lol.desmo

My history. I'm 39. UK.
As a kid I had a big hard-on for these...
But couldn't afford them as I was a kid. Couple of years later my rich Aunty in Canada got these for me. Unbelievably I wasn't actually that pleased to have them as I thought the 3,4 & 5's were what it was all about. Still do.
I always coveted the 4's though so have had three pairs since then. I think the 5's haven't aged as well stylistically.
- Just saw those red IV's for $950.section_014
- I bought them in 2015 for £250 on Oxford Street, London. Was shocked to find them and that they were so much cheaper than I'd seen online.HAYZ1LLLA

Ya'll shouldn't waste your money on this garbage. I'm holding out for the UA Curry 3's with the bible verse on the sole.
