How far does it shoot?

why do you need a gun as a delivery method?
Just throw that shit across the room- True:

- To be fair, once a burglar realises it's not a real gun and you've poisoned and pissed him off - what then?detritus
- if they get a whiff of the powder they won't have time to be pissed.dbloc

Also, this requires the 'intruder' or whoever you're protecting yourself against to be at a safe distance so as to not inadvertently incapacitate yourself as well.
Neat idea but no guarantees of the safety of anyone who uses it.
- No guarantees with the current state of affairs either.cannonball1978
- No but odds are better... unfortunately.SteveJobs

Buy the rounds and get a slingshot, distance problem solved.

FWIW, Bear Mace is probably cheaper and more effective than this.

Pulling a fake gun on the wrong intruder could go very badly.
Using bear spray in your own home would be even worse.
- it's not a fake gun. if shot near them, it releases tear gas. You are not pulling it out to scare them.dbloc

One more thing, you better hope the intruder isn't armed with a real gun. If they quickly react to your shot or intent to shoot you... dead.
Also, is there a way to practice with this gun? A miss where the projectile travels down the hall or out the open window the burglar just crawled through might result in the same outcome. Plus how humiliating if the burglar insulted your failed attempt to incapacitate them.

The fear of someone breaking into your home, raping your wife and killing your kids is absolutely fucking bizarre. Is the USA really that unsafe?
- not necessarily the later, but people definitely break into homes. I would assume that's not just happening in the USAdbloc
- Violent crimes, although rising lately, has decreased drastically since the 80s. Gun ownership on the other hand has increased in a big way.IRNlun6
