I know I can create an After Effects file, import it into Premiere and then change the text in Premiere without affecting the original file. So how do I do the same thing with images?

Also whats the best way to create and reveal a bullet list in premiere? Right now I created a reveal template in AE brought it into premiere and then just do a hold frame after each bullet is revealed. It seems like there should be an easier way.

    thanks

the way we do here is never linking an aep to a premiere comp, only work with pre-rendered files with alpha channel

so all title work, that needs some motion/animation is done in after effects, rendered and then imported in premiere.

    • That may be the way I need to do it. Thanksvoiceof

pro tip: render titles using quicktime animation, RGB + Alpha, millions of colors+ and instead of Premultiplied, use Straight (Unmatted)

That way you won't see a black halo around white text (for exemple)

And also, if you open it on quicktime alone, you'll see it all jagged up, but when you use it on premiere it will look perfect, the thing is that quicktime player doesn't interpret alpha channels right
