Anyone have links to good sites that display what you should be making at certain points in your career as a Graphic Designer/Designer (in various situations: agency, institution, fortune 500; freelancer, full-time etc; Sr. Jr. AD...).
I remember there were a few listed in another thread years back but can't seem to dig it up, and it might be moot at this point.
Are there any reputable sites like this out there today?

When looking at comparative salaries, also look at cost of living as well as what benefits the position will include.
In DC, if you have to take the Metro yet don't get a Metro pass or EZ Pass from the gig, the cost can add up. If you find yourself needing to come in from Silver Springs or Tysons Corner, it goes up some more along with time in traffic (10mi commute = 45-60+ minutes if you're off the bypass in NoVA). Then there's rent...I remember dropping over $1000 for 600 sq. ft. in Dulles. I'm sure there's deals out there, but DC/NoVA real estate is daaamn...I remember folks saying MD offered better luck.
In other words...assuming "surprising digit" is surprising in a positive way, the area has a way taking a decent bite out of it.
Oh...more importantly and grumbling aside, congrats on the potential gig! The DMV area has a lot of pluses.
