An image of mine has been shortlisted as part of a side competition to the Adelaide Festival, and frankly I could really do with the prize money.
So QBNers, at risk of the usual thread derailment, I need your votes.
If you're an Aussie, you can win $500 + a festival membership. If not, then you can just vote and not have to enter any details. And you can do it multiple times (it's just restricted to once per day).
I have no Facebook account, good luck though.
How is this ethical???
The right person/photo should win. Not whoever spams the most forums.
The competition itself encourages it (hence the built in Share buttons that pre-fill the text "Share my photo and vote to help me win.")
I agree, the right person and photo should win. But ultimately that's the direction the completion goes in, and I assure you the other shortlisted entries are doing the exact same thing.
I can't believe you made me vote for a bank,
(do you run the projections with processing?)
The projections aren't my own. They were part of a massive "outdoor gallery" as part of the Adelaide Festival. This particular projection was by László Zsolt Bordos. The competition was a tie in to get people to take shots from around the whole event.
Here's some video I took of the same sequence:

This is the nature of today's competitions dude. The competition brings people to the page so they can vote, and gets more attention and views. This is why it was held in the first place, so no need to be ... well... you.
