** spoilers **
the ending started slow and i wondered if the opening cinnabon scene would be revisited - so that'll come at the end of the series, I suppose - but i did appreciate what was some very nice character exploration and development for jimmy.him finding himself between NM and chicago and back. the faded novelty of his slipping jimmy hijinx, his friend's passing, his undying care for his brother and new opportunities not really fitting the mold of who he realizes he really is... very well written season finale if you ask me.. and strong series considering there are really just two main characters compared to BB
** spoilers **- The Cinnabon store is present day. It's waaay after Breaking Bad. He relocated to Omaha or something.Luda
- Yes, he go that. And he was wondering if it would be revisited.ORAZAL
- I assumed it was just to show where he is NOW - a flash forward - still watching his back. Think the whole BCS series will be in New Mexico/Chicago.Luda

I love how they did this series. The whole back story is awesome.
It really explains why he always had compassion for his fucked up clients, he was one of them of course.
Im a fan, well done.

i recommend it. it dragged on for way too long with the brother plot line bullshit but all that aside i thought the writing wasn't half bad. imo it was better than breaking bad which failed to hold my interest for more than a season or two

Anyone catch that the Wall Street dude they fucked with was the same douchebag Walter White fucks with in a gas station, when he puts a wet squeegee on his car battery and blows up his car?
- yup caught thatRamanisky2

binge watching this right now. Just finished season 1 and started season 2 last night. Really liking it. It has a bit of a Breaking Bad feel to it.

I really dig the whole moral quandary of James McGill vs Slippin' Jimmy (or Saul).
However I'm hoping that there will be some episodes of him getting into some straight criminal shit, dealing more with the gangs and the drugs and what have you.
I love the scams and the schemes.

His tin foil hat wearing brother is so pointless. I hope they tie in walter white and heisenberg soon.
- Has to be after gus hires mike.pango
- i don't think you'll see them in the series. i think it will end before it gets to that point.sarahfailin
- Ya maybe the last episode of the this series.pango

Never be a or work for lawyers.
- I did for 11 years. Glad I'm out of that industry, but they're not all bad people. Some of the best people I've worked with honestly.mg33
- I worked with attorneys - in legal marketing and as a consultant to law firms. The work hours for them are brutal. No thanks.mg33
- I was gonna go to law school but became a designer instead. True story.monospaced

What I love most about this show right now is that I still can't draw a line to when, why, or how he becomes Saul. My guess is eventually he does something irreparable to his career as Jimmy, undergoes an identity change, becomes Saul, and starts an office in another city.
- will the series end when this happens? i hope mike does not die of age for a couple more seasonsdrgs
- i think if he dies, they fast forward to a post breaking bad timeline_niko
- yeah I think this is still a year or 2 before he meets Walter WhiteRamanisky2
- Mike can't die in Better Call Saul. This is several years before Breaking Bad.mg33
- I think he means die in real life.ArmandoEstrada
- dude's olddrgs

^ remember those clips where he's working in a Cinnabon or some shit in the mall? He probably gets into some shit, has to call the vacuum cleaner guy to get a whole new identity. then he's going to step out of the Cinnabon and become *Saul*
- I thought Cinnabon was after Breaking Bad. The culmination of his life... Cinnabon in Nebraska.ETM
- ^ yeah, Cinnabon is after Walter White. Better Call Saul shoes the past and future for fans of Breaking Bad.bainbridge
