I purchased it right after released. Granted, I haven't been the most motivated to get it up, but if you're looking for a simple, responsive portfolio, steer clear. It's the single most complex Wordpress theme I've ever used, but you get a lot for the cash, their support is great, and it looks awesome. Very customizable too.
That said, if you're looking for something a little less complex, I highly recommend Northeme...again, great service, nice themes, just not as over the top: http://northeme.com/
- Good to read this! I was actually looking into launching a site from this theme after i saw yours ran on it.freakpelican
- I haven't written code since my hardcore flash days and so far squarespace is rocking for me.freakpelican
- BUT wordpress is always tempting me, until i read something like this review of yours. I have no patience for dev anymore.freakpelican

It's been a year since this conversation was started and I've heard they've made a lot of updates. Anyone else uses them?
Would you recommend this to someone with very basic coding experience? Would they have to code at all (they make it seem like you don't need to).
- I'd recommend a knowledge of basic HTML/CSS, but really, it's far from required.skwiotsmith

I actually took the time to get it going on one of my projects. Again, time consuming to set up (especially for what I'm using it for http://formsandshapes.com/ / I have 60 projects here), but once you understand the nature of the beast, and have a few projects set up, I've gotta say, it's fantastic.
Still, if you're looking for an easy plug+play, go to Northeme: http://northeme.com/

Bump
Just discovered this theme, anyone still using it? If so how do you feel after its been out for two years? Any improvements?

Have it, not used it, bought when it was new. They were cool, though, and gave me the new version/upgrade (which is $100 more than I paid) for free.
I've come across a few large companies that were using it successfully. We are going to try a few quick sites and see how it looks, but it's got potential.
