Or am I getting old? It seems all the new software, let's say you want to rotate something on an axis. You cannot simply specify a rotation center, the axis and then an increment. NO! That would be to NOT user friendly? Let's have a bunch of spheres to drag instead of fucking basic maths. HARGH! >:((
And why are so many softwares autoscrolling lists DOWN to the botttom, hiding the menu arborescence so you need to scroll back down to see it?

I think web development and html5 is convoluted. In photoshop, if I want to draw a box, and use the shape tool and just drag. In html5 or web development, I have to type up a bunch of coding to do the same shit. Web design and development is so convoluted.
- Blame browsers for only being able to read text, or stick with flash?freedom
- Or just use something like muse?monospaced

I feel some software is actually dumbing down, i.e Final Cut X.
I personally would rather it be complicated and able to do everything I would need once mastered than simplified but limited. I guess it comes down to how much you want to do it and how much time you're willing to sacrifice to learn it inside out.

I meant, when it's easier or more pleasant to code an operation yourself than use wysiwyg.
