WTF: Alpha symbol on the mac

You might have to hand draw the alpha:

I used http://copypastecharacter.com/ to copy and paste the ⍺ character.
My guess is that it doesn't show up in InDesign because the fonts you are using don't support the Greek alphabet.
Try using Open Sans from Google Fonts https://www.google.com/fonts
There is a Script drowpdown menu where you can select Greek. I haven't tested on InDesign yet though.
Let us know if that works.

I have the alpha symbol up in Character Viewer, but can i find the actual symbol like the pic above, nope :( Anybody any ideas?

Orazal, how'd you do that, I've tried copy and pasting it into indesign but it's not coming in, just a box.

Got this logo which has an alpha in it though it doesn't look like it matches the font Modern 20.
Anybody know what it is, Helvetica?
Plus, how the hell do you type an alpha symbol on the mac?
